It is a “specialized center” that takes the form of a specialized technical department, which is established at the core of the organizational structure of the city administration.
This technical department collects and analyzes data, statistics and information in the various fields of urban development, operates and processes them to comply with the requirements of measurement, comparison, publication, preservation and retrieval in the areas of city development in order to work on improving the living conditions of city residents.
